We’re cultivating a small vineyard and winery in Linden, Virginia.
On our 18-acre property, we’ve planted cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, petit verdot, chardonnay and petit manseng, as well as the Italian varietal barbera.
We also have a small, experimental block of sagrantino, an Umbrian grape and one of our favorites.

Sneak-peek wine tastings while we put the finishing touches on our new tasting room: Escape to the Linden, Virginia, wine region and experience our small-batch wines while taking in views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. Our contemporary, off-grid tasting room is still under construction, but we can’t wait to share Silver Dog Vineyards with you. Come visit in July and August for a sneak-peek and enjoy a wine tasting on the finished, outdoor deck or the indoor bar area. Silver Dog’s grand opening will be in the early fall. The wine tasting is $35 and includes four Silver Dog wines.
